> map.hummbl.house is the gods-eye view of the House: every US state as a lot, its 1991-2020 climate normals, its computed Koppen class and IECC climate zone, the vernacular house types the climate builds, rule-of-thumb architectural decisions with an auditable reasoning trace, and a live weather layer from NOAA/NWS, USGS and NASA.

Method: normals are 30-year averages, not forecasts. Koppen follows Peel, Finlayson and McMahon (2007). IECC zones follow the 2021 IECC Table C301.3 thermal criteria computed from the anchor station; the adopted county zone can differ by one. Decisions are design support, not engineering.
